چکیده

Abstract Background Nano-drug delivery systems show considerable promise for effective cancer therapy. Polymeric micelles have attracted extensive attention as practical nanocarriers target drug and controlled system, however, the distribution of release are difficult to trace in cells. Therefore, construction a redox-sensitive multifunctional system intelligent anticancer drugs simultaneous diagnostic imaging therapy remains an attractive research subject. Results To construct smart chemotherapy, mPEG-ss-Tripp was prepared self-assembled into polymeric with diameter 105 nm that were easily detected within cells using confocal laser scanning microscopy based on aggregation-induced emission. Doxorubicin-loaded rapidly released intracellularly when GSH reduced disulfide bond. The drug-loaded inhibited tumor xenografts mice, while this efficacy lower without GSH-responsive bridge. These results establish innovative multi-functional micelle intracellular redox-triggered deliver Conclusions A novel AIE property constructed cellular release. This opens up new possibilities systems.

Redox-sensitive polymeric nanoparticles for drug delivery.

Bioresponsive polymeric nanoparticles have been extensively pursued for the development of tumor-targeted drug delivery. A novel redox-sensitive biodegradable polymer with "trimethyl-locked" benzoquinone was synthesized for the preparation of paclitaxel-incorporated nanoparticles. The synthesized redox-sensitive nanoparticles released paclitaxel in response to chemically triggered reduction.

Polymeric biomaterials for the delivery of platinum-based anticancer drugs.

Since cisplatin, cis-diamminedichloroplatinum(ii), received FDA approval for use in cancer treatment in 1978, platinum-based drugs have been one of the most widely used drugs for the treatment of tumors in testicles, ovaries, head and neck. However, there are concerns associated with the use of platinum-based anticancer drugs, owing to severe side effects and drug resistance. In order to overco...

pH-sensitive polymeric micelles for the Co-delivery of proapoptotic peptide and anticancer drug for synergistic cancer therapy

Mitochondria plays a vital role in a wide range of biological processes in human health and diseases. They are considered to be important organelles responsible for cellular apoptosis or programmed cell death. Therefore, the targeting of chemotherapy towards mitochondria would be highly desirable. Herein, we developed a pH-sensitive polymer that is designed for the subcellular co-delivery of an...

Polymeric micelles for potentiated antiulcer and anticancer activities of naringin

Naringin is one of the most interesting phytopharmaceuticals that has been widely investigated for various biological actions. Yet, its low water solubility, limited permeability, and suboptimal bioavailability limited its use. Therefore, in this study, polymeric micelles of naringin based on pluronic F68 (PF68) were developed, fully characterized, and optimized. The optimized formula was inves...
